Emergency Preparedness A few tips to think about in light of the recent storm and aftermath.   It usually takes 72 hours before FEMA and other relief supplies can be brought in to any disaster area.  Having a few of these items on hand can go a long way to making your families safer!

DUI Checkpoint

The St. Albans Police Department in conjunction with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department and the WV State Police, will be having a DUI Checkpoint at Kanawha Terrace and Green Valley Drive.  The checkpoint will be Thursday evening (July 19) from 7pm until 1am. The checkpoint is funded b y the Governor’s Highway Safety Program.
