Humane Officer
Jeff Moore is our Humane / Animal Control Officer for the City of St. Albans. Officer Moore has been in that position since 1990. Officer Moore responds to all animal complaints.
Officer Moore enforces the city ordinances pertaining to animal complaints such as wild animals, vicious dogs, stray cats, and complaints of animal cruelty, abuse, or neglect.
Officer Moore can be reached during regular business hours from 08:00 – 4:30 Monday – Friday at 304-348-8111, or in case of an emergency, call 911. Officer Moore can also be reached at 304-727-2251 during regular business hours.
